Pet Training and Behavior
Hannah Burnett joined our Kansas City team after working with dogs and cats as a Registered Veterinary Technician for over six years. Although she loved that position, she came to us excited to pursue her dream of helping animals and their owners from a behavioral standpoint! As such, she has earned the credential of Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Even more rigorous, Hannah has met the rigorous standards set for by Beyond the Dog. She is able to treat a variety of problem behaviors, including severe aggression.
Hannah grew up on a working farm that included cattle, hogs, horses, sheep, and various poultry, so she has had a lifetime of experience with a variety of species. As a young girl, she showed cattle and horses through 4-H and worked through the Dog Project with her Golden Retriever, Katie! She has also shown and titled dogs in AKC Conformation.
Knowing she wanted a career working with animals, Hannah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Colorado State University in 2016. She later used her credentials of Registered Veterinary Technician to earn a position training domestic animals.
Hannah’s calm, cheery demeanor puts dogs and clients at ease. Her level of patience goes unmatched, keeping her cool with even the most severe cases. Simply put, her clients love her!
Hannah currently shares her home with her Beauceron, Grimm, quite possibly the luckiest dog on the planet! Her hobbies include hiking (with Grimm, of course), cooking, and reading.
