Private In-Home puppy training and dog training classes are a great option for individuals living in or around the great Houston area. These dog training classes are most beneficial to owners who have specific concerns about their puppy’s or dog’s behavior or have clear goals for pet training. The in-home puppy training and in-home dog training is conducted in the comfort and privacy of their own home, and/or wherever a problem behavior exhibited by their pet occurs. One (maybe two!) of Beyond the Dog’s talented professional trainers come to you for in-home puppy training or in-home dog training – so there is no traveling required. Dogs that undergo this program often exhibit very minor problem behaviors. Common topics discussed during In-Home, Private dog training sessions include, but are not limited to, housebreaking, chewing, and/or simple obedience behaviors.
During the first 1.5-hour dog training class, a Beyond the Dog trainer-led by an animal behaviorist will review the past and current behavior exhibited by your dog and design a unique treatment or obedience plan in order for your training goals to be achieved. The trainer(s) will not only work with your puppy or dog throughout the private consultation, but they will also work with you directly to ensure the treatment or obedience plan is being carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will receive general information, advice, troubleshooting tips, as well as an integrated plan on addressing the behavior of concern. After the dog training class is completed, the trainer will then be sure to send a training protocol containing all of the information that was covered throughout the session to ensure a drastic level of improvement from one session to the next. In addition, private support is always provided if necessary via email or phone – free of charge!
Because all problem behaviors and obedience varies, so does the amount of time it may take to treat a particular behavior. When you submit a contract and begin the scheduling process, you will receive an estimate of the minimum number of dog training classes that will be held. That minimum number should be paid for at the end of your first session.
