Your cat trainer works one on one with your cat 2 days per week. Then we teach you during the third day each week. Clients typically enroll in 3 weeks of training. Each session is an hour-long with exception of the very first session.
What to Expect
In our Houston Executive Kitten Cat Training Program, your trainer will begin working with your cat independently and teach you during one session per week. You continue working with your cat on topics covered during your lesson. This program is great for those who want to address one serious problem behavior or several less severe behaviors!
  • $450 per week (3 hours of training)
  • Payment is due on or prior to program start.
  • $100 deposit required to schedule the program. This amount will be credited toward the total amount due.
  • There will be a $10/session surcharge for locations outside of our service area. If applicable, you will be notified of this prior to the program’s start.

If you live in or around the Greater Houston Area, Beyond the Dog’s Executive Kitten Cat Training Program would be an excellent choice for you and your kitten or cat! This program consistently takes place in your own home and/or a location where your kitten or cat may be exhibiting the problem behavior. Many clients enroll their cats in this particular kitten training and cat training program because they’re exhibiting a small handful of non-severe problem behaviors or one more serious problem behavior.

Beyond the Dog also has the ability to create a longer, more in-depth program for aggressive cat training. Because all problem behaviors vary, so does the amount of time it may take to treat a particular behavior. Before you submit a contract and begin the scheduling process, you will receive an estimate of the minimum number of weeks lessons should take place depending on the problem behavior(s) and/or level of kitten training or cat training desired.

The Houston Executive Kitten Cat Training Program runs three days a week, and only one session each week actually requires your presence. During the first kitten training or cat training session, a Beyond the Dog cat trainer and/or animal behaviorist will review the past and current behavior exhibited by your kitten or cat and design a unique treatment plan in order for your training goals to be achieved. Our cat trainer will go over this plan with you verbally, and then immediately begin working with your kitten or cat.

Every week, the third scheduled day is considered a “lesson day” and that will be the designated day where your trainer will train you! We will teach you a portion of the plan your kitten or cat has learned and walk you through how to initiate the behavioral steps and how to integrate it into your everyday life. After week 1, the cat trainer will also verify that the original treatment is being effectively carried out. You will receive a full kitten training or cat training plan as well as instruction on using that treatment plan.

After the initial week, you and your cat trainer truly begin to work hand in hand by consistently working with your cat every day. Essentially, you are in charge of keeping up the kitten training or cat training on the days the trainer is not there. By doing this, you are maintaining consistency during the program and also getting closer and closer to your long-term behavior goal(s)!

If you reside in or near the Greater Houston Area and would be interested in one of Beyond the Dog’s intelligent and experienced trainers working with your kitten or cat, don’t wait and call today!
